Glass-Blower
Vase by the French artist Claude Morin, a key figure in the renewal of glass art in France. Settled in Dieulefit in the 1970s, he developed a distinctive formal language combining experimentation and technical mastery.
Mouth-blown, this vase features a rounded base and a narrow neck, with subtle swirls of purple and brown running through the solid-colored glass. The depth of the hue, enhanced by light transparencies, gives the piece a striking visual intensity and an almost pictorial quality.
Signed underneath the base: Morin 18.2.79
