Glass-Blower

Blown glass jug by Claude Morin, a major figure in the revival of French glass art. Working in Dieulefit during the 1970s, he explored new forms and developed an aesthetic language rooted in color and light.

This jug, mouth-blown in deep blue glass, features a globular body with full, balanced lines, topped by a straight neck. A small sinuous applied handle adds a distinctive touch, balancing sobriety with a hint of playfulness. The dense transparency of the glass, with fine bubbles throughout, highlights the artisanal nature of the piece.

Signed underneath the base: Morin Dieulefit.
