Glass-Blower
Pair of vases by the talented French artist Claude Morin, a major figure in the revival of glass art in France. Settled in Dieulefit in the 1970s, he refined his techniques there and developed a distinctive formal language of his own.
Each vase features a wide rounded base topped by a narrow neck, mouth-blown in two shades of blue: one in a deeper hue, the other in a softer, more transparent tone. Their geometric simplicity highlights the purity of the material and the artisanal craftsmanship of the artist.
Signed underneath the base: Morin Dieulefit.
