Solid wood escabelle with an openwork backrest featuring symmetrical scrolls and a central spade-shaped cutout. The ornamentation, rooted in Alpine folk art, combines traditional symbolism with rustic elegance.

The faceted seat stands on four slightly splayed turned legs. This type of chair was commonly used in mountain homes and inns, blending everyday function with decorative craftsmanship.
