Space chair model designed by Aldo and Francesco Piccaluga in 1965, produced by Interdesign in Italy.

This folding chair in white laminated plywood stands out for its simplicity and ingenuity. It can fold completely, allowing for compact storage, and can even be hung on the wall for minimal space usage. Its clean design reflects the modern spirit of the 1960s, where functionality and aesthetics converge.

Presented at the "Beirut. The Eras of Design" exhibition at MUDAC, this piece embodies the aspiration for a new identity through design, a central theme of the exhibition that explores the evolution of design in Lebanon, particularly after the civil war.
