  • Chrystiane CHARLES

Guadeloupe's Table lamp produced by Maison Charles in France around 1970.

Resting on a substantial white lacquered metal base, it features a brass stem adorned with a sculptural composition of three finely textured patinated bronze leaves. The rectangular fabric shade creates a refined dialogue between the organic decoration and the geometric structure, a hallmark of Maison Charles' distinctive aesthetic.

Founded in Paris in 1908, Maison Charles became one of the leading French manufacturers of luxury lighting under the direction of Jacques and Jean Charles. Inspired by botanical forms and crafted from noble materials such as bronze and brass, its creations are now celebrated for their exceptional craftsmanship and timeless elegance.
