Produced in a limited edition, the Candela lamp is among the earliest designs published by Produzione Privata, the company founded by Michele De Lucchi to develop experimental objects in small series, independent from industrial production.
Featuring a circular painted metal base supporting a transparent cylindrical glass tube enclosing the light source, the lamp is defined by its minimalist design and refined use of transparency. The light is evenly diffused through the glass, highlighting the purity of its lines. It is possible to insert three filters-red, black, and green-to change the lighting.
Produced as a limited edition, this example is offered with its original box.
