A unique piece. An oval shaped vase with a tighten neck, red terracotta from Vallauris painted in polychrome, and floral decoration.
Incised handwritten signature Jules Agard, master ceramicist of the 1950s, he was an artist in his own right, with a rich and abundant universe.
Jules Agard was also the one who formed the pots for Pablo Picasso in the Madoura workshop of Suzanne and Georges Ramié. All the pieces imagined by Pablo Picasso are shaped by the experienced Jules Agard. Their collaboration lasted 22 years
