REF: 8322
Pair of lounge chairs designed by Pierre Guariche and manufactured by Negroni in France circa 1970.
The design contrasts a geometric structure in white laminate-faced plywood, with its layered edges left exposed, with two generously upholstered cushions forming the seat and backrest. The cut-out side panels create a continuous profile rising towards the back, while the visible black fasteners punctuate the white surfaces.
Low and generously upholstered, these lounge chairs reflect Pierre Guariche's exploration of simple, functional furniture developed in response to changing lifestyles in the late 1960s.
