Fiberglass Sculpture by Paolo Schiavocampo, Italy 1970

REF: 7498

Free-standing sculpture by Paolo Schiavocampo, composed of two fiberglass half-moons of identical size, one in white and the other in yellow. Each element features one smooth side and one ribbed side, allowing the piece to be rotated and repositioned to alter how it reflects and diffuses light.

This exploration of surface, relief, and color reflects Schiavocampo's focus on geometric abstraction and modern industrial materials. Fiberglass here becomes the medium of a poetic interplay between shadow, light, and chromatic vibration, characteristic of his sculptural language in the 1970s.
