The piece is composed of a vertical volume structured through a play of solid and void. A circular hollow is carved into the mass, extended by a recessed line that emphasizes the tension between surface and depth.

The warm brown patina enhances the continuity of the forms and the softness of the transitions. The piece reflects the organic vocabulary characteristic of the artist's work.

Robert Neuhauser, born in Altnau, initially worked with wood before expanding his practice to stone and bronze. His sculptures are defined by soft lines and a strong bodily presence.
