Designer

The Zataku coffee table, envisioned by Saburo Inui in 1959 for Tendo Mokko, is an iconic piece of Japanese design. As the technical director, Inui masterfully combined traditional craftsmanship with modern innovations, establishing Tendo Mokko as a leader in bentwood furniture.

Crafted from keyaki veneer, this coffee table stands out with its organic, curved design. The thick, meticulously crafted tabletop is enhanced by a subtle interplay of wood grain, while the gently curved legs extend the fluidity of the form, creating a piece that is both elegant and functional. The soft lines and refined finish of this table make it a harmonious addition to any contemporary interior.

The vintage Tendo Mokko logo is stamped on the underside of the tabletop.
