Pair of stools from Courchevel, produced in France circa 1960.
Crafted from solid pine, each stool features a thick square seat with generously rounded corners and an oblong handhold cut-out for easy handling. The four tapered legs are joined by solid stretchers, creating a sturdy construction designed for everyday use in a mountain resort. Their restrained design and rich patina are characteristic of functional Alpine furniture from the 1960s.
