Pair of wooden stools, La Pierra Menta, 1979
Pair of stools with four quadrangular legs joined by staggered cylindrical stretchers, creating a rhythmic structural balance. Designed by Charlotte Perriand, they are part of her comprehensive interior architecture and furnishing project for the La Pierra Menta building, within the broader development of Les Arcs.
Produced in 1979, these stools embody her pursuit of solid and functional furniture adapted to communal mountain life. Found in an apartment in La Pierra Menta still entirely furnished as originally conceived, they represent a rare piece directly linked to Perriand's vision.
