Oscar Torlasco (1934 - 2004)
Oscar Torlasco is an Italian designer born in Rome in 1934. Well renowned for his creations of lights, he has worked with many Italian manufacturers, but mostly for Lumi.
Quite eclectic, his creations have crossed different styles. Oscar Torlasco often used chrome steel combined with marble, brass and other more luxurious materials.
Very active during the 1950s and 1960s, he was awarded the famous Compasso d'Oro in 1959 for his creation Genova 4053.
