Gae Aulenti (1927 - 2012)
Gae Aulenti is an Italian architect, stylist and designer born in 1927. She is known worldwide for the refurbishment of many museums, including the Musée d'Orsay and the Center Pompidou in Paris.
She has deeply influenced the history of design with her timeless creations, combining modernity and tradition to cross eras with an impressive success.
Among its most remarkable pieces, the "Pipistrello" lamp (1965) or the "4854" chair, which have become design icons.
