"Campbell's Soup Can" stool conceived by Dino Gavina in 1971 and produced by Ultramobile Simon, identified as "Omaggio a Warhol" on its original label.
Made of painted and screen-printed metal, it reproduces the Campbell's soup can imagery made famous by Andy Warhol. Its removable lid allows it to be used as a stool, occasional table or storage container.
Dino Gavina thus brought one of Pop Art's most recognizable images into furniture design, within the context of Italian design experimentation in the early 1970s.
