Two-sided bas relief, with free-form reliefs, made in plaster on a granite base.
Lienhard was a Swiss sculptor, designer and graphic designer. He was a major representative of non-figurative Monumental Sculpture, which he executed mainly in bronze, aluminum, wood and stone, especially for public spaces (Zurich, Winterthur, ...)
After studying at the Academy of Fine Arts from 1936 to 1940, he set up his studio in Winterthur. He was showcased in personal exhibitions at the Kunstmuseum Winterthur in 1951, 1970 and 1981.
