Piero Fornasetti (1913 - 1988)
Piero Fornasetti was born in Milan in 1913, and is a 20th century Italian painter, sculptor and designer.Trained in fine arts, he acquired great dexterity in printing techniques in his father's studio. Printing for many artists, he began a long collaboration with Gio Ponti from 1940.
We find his favorite themes (woman's face, acrobats, harlequins) on many media, including objects and furniture.
