Osvaldo Borsani (1911 - 1985)Born in 1911, Osvaldo Borsani is one of the great Italian designers of the 20th century. Graduated in 1937 in architecture from the Polytechnic School of Milan, he quickly joined the family business of furniture manufacturing.
In 1953, he founded Tecno, with his twin brother, and met great success thanks to his functional furniture with innovative design. At the head of the design and artistic creation for nearly 30 years, he creates iconic pieces such as the D70 convertible sofa, the P34 swivel chair or the P40 lounge chair.
The company also produces for well renowned Italian designers, like Gio Ponti or Mario Bellini.
