Johan Niegemann

Johan Niegemann (1902 - 1977)

Born in 1902 in Wijk aan Zee, Johan Niegemann is a Dutch architect, designer and university professor. He worked in the Bauhaus office of Walter Gropius from 1926 to 1928 and was a lecturer at the Bauhaus in Berlin from November 1928 to June 1929. He created lighting and other design objects in the spirit of the Bauhaus. He died in Formentera in 1977.
