First Series of P40 Lounge Chair for Tecno, Italy, circa 1955

Out of stock

Price per item.

First series of P40 model lounge chairs by Osvaldo Borsani, produced by Tecno between 1955 and 1959.

The P40 lounge chair can be adjusted into different positions and was thus called "Multi-positional Armchair". The seat, back and footrest can all be adjusted independently from one another. The upholstery has been replaced with a beautiful Hermès Orange color leather. Foam filling is in good condition. The rubber armrests and brass details are fully original and in overall good condition.

The 1st series can be easily identified : there is no extractable headrest and a round tubular base. This chair even has the earliest brass two-hole screws and not the Allen BTR screws.

Label on the base.
