Pair of solid wood armchairs designed by Henry Jacques Le Même for a chalet in Megève around 1950. Their openwork frame, flat armrests and inclined legs reflect the functional yet refined character of alpine modernism developed by the architect.
The seat cushions are upholstered in red Othello velvet by Nobilis, adding a warm and elegant contrast to the natural wood. These armchairs embody Le Même's vision of uniting craftsmanship and architectural simplicity within the post-war mountain aesthetic.
