Solid pine bar, Charlotte Perriand, Résidence Aiguille Rouge, Arc 2000, circa 1979

Bar designed by Charlotte Perriand for the Résidence Aiguille Rouge, built and furnished at Arc 2000 in the French Alps in 1979. Originally placed in front of the kitchen, it is made of solid pine and features three shelves and a free-form top, reflecting Perriand's organic design language.

This piece belongs to the broader body of work developed by Perriand for the ski resorts of Les Arcs, where she created for over twenty years a functional and robust furniture adapted to communal life in the mountains.
